Things to Consider When Choosing your Maid of Honor …
When choosing your bridal party, the most important person you will choose will be your Maid of Honor. When choosing your Maid of Honor, choose someone who you are close to, someone you know will be there for you, and someone you can rely on. Your Maid of Honor needs to be encouraging to the other bridesmaids you select, communicate well with you and the other bridesmaids, and make sure they are someone who has time to help you with the details of your wedding.
All that the Bridesmaids are technically responsible for are purchasing a dress, accessories, and paying for travel fees, if necessary. The Maid of Honor is responsible for these things too, but she also has quite a few additional responsibilities. When choosing your Maid of Honor, please make sure she is aware of the extra responsibilities she will have. Use this list to guide her to help her know what she needs to do.
These are the main responsibilities a Maid of Honor has before the wedding:
~ Keep the brides nerves calm throughout the planning process

~ Host a Bridal Shower

These are the main responsibilities the Maid of Honor has on the Wedding Day:

~ Make sure the bride gets to the ceremony on time
~ Help the bride to get into her dress
~ Have an Emergency Kit of items, such as hairspray, bobby pins, chalk, hard candy, water etc. for the bridal party to use in case of any emergencies on the wedding day (if you hire us, we will have this for you!)
